Even If this happens, it will not help EB3I because then the spill over will be shared by all countries in EB3. Then there will not be any option left both for EB2 and EB3. Now atleast there is an option for some EB3 folks to move to EB2.

If we see a good action plan from IV Core and a date, how much are you willing to contribute.I am now ready to do $2000.00 instead of $500.00 as I said before. Tell me one thing - Why do you expect IV core to spoonfeed everything to you and your friends. If you and your friends are raring to go and do something for the retrogressed community, why not come forward with ideas and show some efforts, instead of just harping on a forum with a bundle of dollars in your hand! Remember, IV is made up of you and me, and it's you and me who can make all the difference. It's very easy to sit on the sidelines and talk. And one more thing - "Have a positive attitude" about everything (life, IV, GC etc) and you will notice how much your point of view will change for better.
The best advice I have for you is to join your state chapter because IV does lot of its planning and strategy implementation behind the scenes. That way you will know more about IV's current and future plans, and will be able to contribute in a positive manner.

I was just wondering are they holding card of WAC..?
As I said earlier, even mine is also the same case. Couple of people I have seen in forums whose cards on hold dare also of WAC...numbers.

We are in AOS stage and planning to do Canadian Landing next month. Any one here knows if we have to surrender our I-94 when we exit the USA?

If your visit is less than 30 days, detach I-94 and keep it in your pocket preferably in an envelop to make sure that it remains safe. Be prepared for questions that US IO will ask when you return back. Reduce your answer to Yes or No and don't provide explanation of anything unless you are asked to. What is your status in US?

Well, culture has tremendous impact on people. Looking at the state of our country, what have we become in last 63+ years? Major percentage of population still live under poor living conditions. We are one of the most corrupted countries in the world. Some people want to live in denial. Boasting about greatness that doesn't exist is of no use to the current and future generations. We have to make our country great by changing the conditions. In order to do that, first we need to acknowledge that there are serioous issues. Unless we all unitedly agree that the conditions are pathetic and will worsen, nothing is going to change.

I came to this Country on a Student Visa - This Country gave me decent paying job, much much better quality of life, low cost of living, Freedom of expression/speech, good amount of free time to invest for my personal interests.

I think it can not be true. I strongly believe in stats look around you and see how many have not received receipt, you will find very few numbers. In my office everyone has got receipt and my friends too. I am the only unlucky person. This sample is truly random hence I believe it. Out of 15 friends I know (work for different company and filed on different date) only I am left. Whatever immigartion-law or anyone is reporting like this is wrong.
It is painful to wait like this and I am frustrated.. hope next week brings some good news...

The only thing people know through various private websites just indicates that there are a plenty of people who are still waiting for filing fee checks cashed or receipt notices received for the cases which were filed as early as July 2, 2007, not to mention any later cases.
We reported earlier that the USCIS had allegedly received total of 800,000 cases for the July VB fiasco cases. There is an unconfirmed report that they have completed the receipting only half way through of the total, meaning approximately 400,000. There are no sources of information to verify or confirm the figures. However, if it is correct, the USCIS has yet to process mountains of receipting workloads ahead and the filers have some additional sleepless nights which they will have to endure for a while. AMEN!

If a person isn't contributing money, isn't participating in state chapters, isn't going to any rally and his/her sole contribution is 'brilliant ideas' that get posted on the forums... only use he/she can be put to is inter-breeding donkeys and horses, like you said!
However, unfortunately, IV is not a farm.
A rich man had a bunch of horses and donkeys. He used some to carry the load and some he tried to breed for participating in races. He was trying something but not very effeciently.

Problem is not only with the desi companies! If you work for the so called MNC, still you will be exploited. At least if you convince your desi employer that you will work for them for X number of years, they will be ready to help you. Sometimes they will go beyond the legal limits if the get return from you. Not true with MNCs. In the name of abiding the law, the will not help you. I have seen many people work MNCs, just at the verge of getting the GC, they got laid off! No need for me to tell what happened to his GC.
So in my opinion the best way to get your GC is go thru the blood suckers! That is the price you have to pay to become citizen of this "Land of Opportunity".

Dear all,
I was wondering if any one on this forum has filed his/her AOS with NSC and their case will be transferred to TSC (due to I140 approved from TSC) and has got the filing receipts yet?
My application (based on lawyer's email) should have reached NSC on July 2nd, but haven't got the checks cashed yet or got the receipts yet...
I was wondering that my case will most likely be transferred to TSC from NSC. I am thinking lot of guys are in same situation as me, but have you guys received any receipt yet?
